Unleash the potential within your training team with Train the Trainer courses

One of the most important resources for any organization is its human resources. There can be no denial that one of the biggest challenges in front of the human resource manager of an organization, irrespective of its scale, is the recruitment, induction, training and development of their resources. To streamline this process, most countries hire trainers as employees, or hire the professional services of a training organization to fulfill their training needs.

However, no trainer is perfect, as training is a profession that demands continuous learning, which can be best achieved with the help of Train the trainer courses. While there are several companies that offer training the trainer courses, it is imperative to understand the training needs of your organization, and identify what are the qualitative improvements the organization can expect, by making the trainer undertake such courses. One challenge though is in choosing the right organization for undertaking Training the trainer courses. While there are hundreds of organizations across the length and breadth of the nation, which offer such courses; it is important to learn the competencies of the organization, and balance the same with your trainer skill courses requirements.

The first step that should be covered in any training the trainer program should be the understanding and conceptualizing of the target audience. The master trainer must have a thorough understanding of the organization that is being trained and its work force. It is only then that the master trainer can develop curriculum for the training the training the trainer program and share his expertise. After this thorough training need analysis, it is important to create a training design, which includes the modality of delivery, an estimate of the training tools and the right platform for training. While some modules are effective indoors, others are excellent outdoors. Choosing the right place has as much importance, as choosing the right participants. It is imperative that a trainer is made aware to choose the best training premises, as identifying a good locaiton and understanding its effectiveness is not an easy task.

Another aspect of training that would be clearly demonstrated through a training a trainer program would be the development of content and instructional design. Most amatuer trainers would have little knowledge in the domain of content development and would be dependent on the internet as their best source for content. However, a good trainer must be able to produce his own content, develop unique deluivery strategies and create an action plan of trainign delivery, which has to be a sign of his creativity.

The most important measure of training effectiveness is the feedback at the end of the session. Hence, a good training the trainer course must be able to help a trainer develop unique methods to develop feedback. He must be able to create a positive influence on the audience, and help himself by getting the positive influence into sugarcoated words for the feedback.

All these elements make a good trainer, which are aspects that can be learned through a train the trainer course.

We have a 7 month old beagle/coonhound mix and going to beginner classes for training. The trainer said we should exercise her alot before going to class. We don't want to tire her out too much...but will try more next week....see if it helps. Are there any other suggestions besides tire the dog out? Thanks
