Self Hypnotherapy Overview
Self
hypnosis or self hypnotherapy is an amazing technique, it is merely a
hypnosis session conducted by and applied on yourself. There are many benefits associated with it but it is mainly applied for improving self-esteem, self-improvement,
personal development and bringing positive change in life. For conducting hypnotherapy session you need a calm place where you could relax and focus on the matter. There are many resources available these days on internet where you can download
self hypnosis scripts, audio, video & courses etc.
Hypnotherapy is a process of undertaking a person into hypnotic trance and introducing change. Hypnosis itself is not a therapy. It is basically applied to cure behavioral & psychological ailments and therefore called hypnotherapy. In hypnotherapy, different hypnosis techniques are applied to make positive changes in life such as reducing stress, anxiety, phobia, pain, etc.
Some of our behaviors are conscious choice of our own. Some are genetically inherited and some acquired by social, religious or by cultural means. So what hypnotherapy does it completely recharges your subconscious mind. It doesn't eliminate what is in there but embeds completely new positive, proactive statement and finally changes the way you think.
In a typical hypnotherapy session, a therapist communicates with your subconscious mind when you are in a relaxed state. He utilizes the power of your subconscious being and suggests improvements related to persisting problem. This process is done quite easily and effortlessly and it is a lot cheaper than other medical treatments. One of the major advantages of hypnotherapy is it has no side effects whatsoever. Therefore, it is the reason its gaining popularity.
So far we have discovered that it's all about your subconscious mind. Ever wondered, why is that? Actually, our subconscious mind is very powerful. Psychologists believe that 90% of our behaviors were formed at the time when we were 3 years old. Since that age they only gain strength or get weaker depending upon upbringing & events in life. So it is actually quite a task to get rid of certain behaviors.
WHY ONE SHOULD USE SELF HYPNOTHERAPY
Self hypnotherapy is a powerful tool which allows you to get relief from stress, anxiety, and phobia. It also builds confidence, boosts self-esteem etc. One of the major benefits, these days, of self hypnosis is you are not dependent on therapist or if you live an area where such facilities are not available, you can always search for resources available online and get proper sessions done at the comfort of your home.
Few questions that may come in your mind like does self-hypnosis really work? What would happen if something goes wrong? Etc. I would answer them without any hesitation that YES, it really works. You will not be able to understand it until you apply it on yourself and there are no side effects related to it. It's just a form of sleep. What happens? When you are overslept, you simply wake up. So nothing can go wrong in a self hypnotism session.

I need HELP HELP HELP HELP!!!!!! Any one, it is about my soon to be girlfriend?
I have a girlfriend that I want back, what should i do?
I was with this girl three years, after the first year it began to go on and off, three months on one week of.
We would spend whole days together, if not that we would be together twice or once a day, but we would always call each other. When we had differences we would be able to work things out.
A month ago, i was narrow minded and was extremely stressed and did not notice that this time i was really pushing her away, then one day she said a couple of words that really did not mean anything, it was not even about us, but i snapped. I yelled at her and cursed, sadly it was in front of my brother, after that she said, "i dont have to take this from you" and she left. I went after her and apologize, and said to her that i wanted to be back with her, but know she does not want anything to do with me. I really dont want to loose her. I made a mistake.
I have taken the steps necessary to prevent this occurrence from happening again, I have been reading more, and have been doing self-improvement exercises, anything so when we get back together it wont fail again.
She is part of my family and my family loves her, i was a dumb person. What should I do? oh and she is starting to want to date other people, yet it is not going favorable to her, ye for me. But, I feel I am reaching the deadline.
HELP me get the love of my life back.
I was able to get her to go out with me today, what should i do?

Am I a bad person for not respecting my father?
I know how melodramatic this question must sound, especially over Yahoo Answers, but I just want to get some various opinions. (And for the record, no, we did not just have a fight and have not had one in weeks. I just want honest opinions.)
So here's why (I don't respect him):
1.) He's racist, sexist, and just an overall jerk
Example; yesterday my sister was telling him who Katy Perry is, and showed him her "Firework" music video. There's like a 2 second scene where a gay guy is coming out of the closet (literally, a two second kiss) and as soon as my father sees this he yells "that's just disgusting!" and slammed the laptop closed.
2.) He doesn't respect anyone himself. He always tells me that I'm so disrespectful towards him, but who does he respect? Oh, right, his favorite football players. Does he respect my mother? No. Does he respect me? No. He idolizes people based on the most superficial things (he's practically in love with Selma Hayek).
3.) He's SO ignorant. I haven't had anyone over to our house for at least 10 years because I'm so embarrassed by him. I seriously doubt he could find more than a 3 or 4 countries on a global map.
4.) He basically scoffs at self improvement. Why? I have no idea. I constantly seek self improvement (exercise, education, etc.) but he laughs at me. He's content with being the redneck slob he is for some reason. Sure, I admire people who love themselves for who they are, but that's not the case here. He just doesn't think he can be improved upon (either he's extremely narcissistic or just lazy).
The list goes on and on.
My question is simple. Assuming everything above is true (you really can't attest to anything being true or false seeing as you don't know him so just assume it's true), am I justified in not respecting him?
I really would like honest answers, so if you're going to laugh at my problem please do so somewhere else :(
