Self Development - 3 Surefire Tactics To Eliminate Your Procrastination Starting Today
It goes without saying, that to enjoy any level of self development success, you must be able to get things done. So, if you're the kind of person that struggles to get things done because you're always procrastinating, then you have come to the right place. In the next few short minutes you'll discover three simple ways to get yourself into action.
1. Optimize your environment.
If your home, office, work, car or anywhere else that you regularly spend time is cluttered, then you can expect your thinking to be the same way. If you are surrounded by distractions, like having the television on, music blaring, whatever it happens to be that takes your mind off the job in hand, then that must be eliminated.
Having an organized environment, coupled with discipline and a lack of distractions will lead to a more productive lifestyle.
2. Don't leave everything to the last minute.
This is hugely important, if you want to have a productive and fruitful lifestyle, you must stop leaving things until the last minute to get them done. Think about it, is it really doing your project or even yourself any good by leaving the required actions to the very last moment? I doubt it very much.
If it is a big task that lies ahead of you, remember that old system of chunking. Quite simply take 5 minutes to plan ahead and break down the task into smaller pieces divided into daily action plans. By doing this you will have more time to do the things you really want to do in life, and also get by with a lot less stress.
3. Keep your thoughts positive.
If you are doing a task that is not your favorite, then it is vital that you do not concentrate on the fact that you don't like it. The more you say to yourself that this is not an enjoyable task, the longer it will take to complete, and the more you will procrastinate and do anything else rather than the task in hand.
There are two things that you can do in terms of keeping your mind positive during a less than enjoyable task. You can either concentrate on the things that you actually like about the task, or, keep your mind focused on how good it will feel once you have completed the task and the benefits you will receive from getting the job done.
So, in summary, make sure you're living and working environment is in good order, take a little time to plan ahead and don't leave things to the last minute, and finally keep your thoughts positive and focus on why you are taking action in the first place. Following these simple steps will aid your ongoing self development and breakthrough procrastination.

Is gaming worth the time-sink?
I really enjoy pushing my skills and talents and developing myself into something greater, but I also love playing video games. Lately, I've become unhappy with the overwhelming presence of video games in my life, especially with it diminishing my own development. As you can probably tell, I want to do well in life, even if that means breaking up with video games (but I'm hoping that it doesn't have to come to that).
My question to you gamers (or ex-gamers) is can you really enjoy a life of gaming and self-development at the same time? Or is it better to choose one over the other?

It is university accepted that little children maybe to young to manage their money, for the adults often think they do not know how to spent money in a appropriate way. However, an ever increasing number of people, including me, are taking a fresh attitude that if we want our children to grow up to a responsible and undependable adult, we should let them begin to manage the money on their own in a young since, during the process of managing the money, children can become more responsible to themselves, improve their planning capacities and develop a better understanding of difficulties of making money.
Learn to manage ones money can help build the characteristic of be responsible and dependable to oneself. No one will live with parents and receive their guidance or advices all his life, therefore it is essential for one to be independent as soon after he leaves his parents to live alone as possible. During the process of arranging every outcome or income, one must think all the cases that he may come about and come up with solutions to the every possible problem, in a word, he must think in an adult way completely since his every determination relate to his financial condition directly. Through the history, many great people come to a poor family, it can indicate that their success are mainly because owe to their difficult situations in a young age, they quickly developed then sense of being independent and responsible, which would surely benefit their future development.
Nowadays, the pace of people's life is becoming higher and higher, and time management, which is something related to one's ability of planning, is becoming increasingly significance. Just like a successful football game needs a fully preparation in previous, only one had learn how to plan appropriate can he be a winner in today's society. Obviously, managing his money at a young serves well to enhance the ability to make plans. For example, when we get the money for this month, we maybe begin to think, how much is expected to be spent? What is this money spent for? When to make every bargain? During the process, there is no doubt that, the improvement of the capacity of planning is just on the way.
Another importance of managing ones money at a young age is to help he make sense of that saving and earning are the two sides of a coin. Surely, a child does not have skills to make a living, yet he can know the difficulties or hardship of it. Most of the children nowadays are living a fierily happy life, in which they lack of nothing, and it is easily for them to develop a view that there is adequate wealth belonged to them, meaning they can spend money in whatever way they like at the same time. If this kind of thought keeps going on, once they get to know what the world really is, it's certainly that they will suffer a lot! Develop a habit of saving money can bring one wealth as well as the quality of being thrifty and is surely make benefits to one's development all his life.
Accordingly, the habit of managing money at a young age shows a person's superior in terms of self-management, making plans and being thrifty, which are all excellent characteristics can lead one to be a successful individual. Logically, I am strongly convinced that we should let our children manage money themselves at a young age, for one part, they can have a advantage of self-development over others. For another, we can save a lot of time and energy. Since such method is a mutual beneficial, there is no doubt that we should undertake it!
