Do any of you know of Cognative rehabilitative therapy and or Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy?
I have a personal development class and I have been tought CRT and the class is teaching REBt. Both have simular techniqhues which requires a person to accept their feelings of what ever the circumstances and to let go of those feelings. Sound very simple but when helping an emotionally disturbed person this therapy may save and change thier life if put into practice. I just thought I would try to see the differences in how to help people when I finally get my social work license. This is the organization that I would like to work for when I am through in getting my Masters. Or some place like this. They are a treatement center for addiction and behavioral and emotional problems and trauma. http://www.rivercresthospital.com/educational_resources.htm Could you share how it changed your life so that other here who may be struggling with simular issues may find some help.
