Gain Self-Confidence Fast and Naturally

Is it really difficult to gain self-confidence? This is a question many people ask when they look in the mirror and feel that they do not match up to the image that others have of a confident person. In some ways, such low self-image is not entirely false. Many people do suffer from low self-esteem and their ability to gain self-confidence is seemingly elusive. This is not a minor problem because issues related to low self-esteem and limited self-confidence can dramatically undermine the way a person lives his or her life. That is why it is so necessary to take the proper steps required to expand and boost self-esteem. In short, someone that is "down" needs to become properly self motivated, as a way to gain self-confidence and do it in a manner that would be considered natural.

What are some of the ways that you can gain self-confidence naturally? One of the best methods to achieve such ends entails to eliminate negative thought patterns. Some may shake their heads at such a notion. They might say something to the effect that it is much easier said than done since negative thoughts can be very intrusive and invasive. As a result, the potential to eliminate such thoughts from one's mind is not exactly easy to achieve. However, with concentrated deliberative effort, this can be done.

For example, if seriously negative and intrusive thoughts start to enter into your conscious mind, it becomes wise to slowly shrink such images until they are no longer as deliberatively pervasive as they commonly are. In short, you gain self-confidence by literally destroying the negative thought patterns and emotions that may have otherwise undermined how you see yourself. This, in turn, will alter the way others see you as well since you will put forth an image of being quite deliberatively self-confident. And, best of all, you will do so sincerely and naturally which is always the best way to gain self-confidence.

Consider the alternative to this natural method. Many people will seek chemical psychotropic drugs as a means of reducing the mental problems they must contend with. As a result, they will literally be numbing their mental state. This is done with the intention of reducing the anxiety and depression that prevents one from doing what is necessary to gain self-confidence. But, is this the right way to seek such gains? Honestly, it is a terrible method because it does absolutely nothing in terms of its ability to reverse the various problems associated with the underlying condition. Why would anyone want to involve himself with such a plan when the ability to gain self-confidence in a natural manner would prove to be a much better plan? In some cases, the individual simply does not know the existence of a better plan. Don't make this same mistake. Rather, you should look for the various natural methods that can help you gain self-confidence in a more reliable manner.

Can such success be achieved overnight? Well, very few things of any value can be achieved overnight. But, with the right effort and the proper motivation, it is definitely possible to make serious successful gains in the spectrum of enhancing self-confidence. This much we know is a fact.

Can anyone help me feel better about myself?
Can anyone help me feel better about myself? I feel really ugly and really bad about myself. I have a sister who is 3 years younger than me. I know for a fact that she's the prettier one between us. She's going to be homecoming queen. Today at the grocery store she told the cashier that she knew she looked stupid touching her eyelashes and the cashier said, "Oh, no honey! You look gorgeous! You don't ever worry about looking stupid. I wish I was young again. You shouldn't ever worry about wearing makeup. Your beautiful.'' I was sad and embarrassed watching my sister get complimented. The woman didn't even talk to me except for saying have a nice day when we left. Then, I was in a store and I saw my mom's ex husband for the first time in my life (my mom didn't want to see him, he didn't know who we were, he's a teacher and flirts with students, cheats, beats, etc.) so my sister and I discretely walked by him to look. He smiled at her but I couldn't even get him to look at me, and I passed him three or four times but my sister only had to pass by once. I met my sister and mom at a dress store for her to get fitted and they brought my sisters friend with them. My sisters friend was staying the night, but my sister had to go somewhere so I took her friend home with me. When I was backing out she told me I was pretty so I said, "Aww, thank you. Wait, what did you say?" I feel like I need to gain self confidence because in my opinion no one should feel caught of guard when someone says they are pretty. Does anyone have tips on how to feel better about myself? I already wear makeup. She is 13, I am 16. It makes me especially mad that she gets more attention because she is very mean and I'm not. Thank you in advance, (:
